Phos Hilaron
Peters Branch

Hail, gladdening Light, of His pure glory poured
The Immortal Father, heavenly, blest,
Holiest of Holies, Holiest of Holies
Holiest of Holies, Jesus Christ our Lord!

Now we have come to the sun’s hour of rest;
The lights of evening round us shine;
We hymn the Father…we hymn the Son,
We hymn the Holy Spirit divine!

Worthiest at all times to be sung
With undefiled…tongue,
Son of our God, giver of life, alone:
In all the world thy glories, Lord, they own.

Pure and Holy Jesus Christ
Drive out Darkness with Your Light (x4)

Glory to God who has shown us the light! (x2)
Lead us from darkness to light,
Lead us from sorrow to joy,
Lead us from death into life, lead us.

Collect For Purity
Marty Reardon

O Lord…to You our hearts are open
To You our thoughts are known
From You no secret's hidden

Purif - y my heart
Purif - y my heart
That I may bring glory
That I may bring glory
That I may bring glory to You

The Lord almighty grant us a quiet night and a perfect end.
Amen.
Our help is in the name of the Lord
the maker of heaven and earth.

Confession Song
Mark DiCristina

Lord, we confess that we have sinned
Against you and each other
In thought and in word and deed we’ve failed,
And not loved as we should
Have mercy on us,
And forgive us our sin,
That we may delight in your will and walk in your ways
To the glory of Christ, your Son, our Lord
A - men

O God, make speed to save us.
O Lord, make haste to help us.
Glory to the Father and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit;
as it was in the beginning
is now and shall be for ever. Amen.

Psalm 126
Bifrost Arts

Our mouths they were filled, filled with laughter
Our tongues they were loosed, loosed with joy
Restore us, O Lord     Restore us, O Lord

Although we are weeping
Lord, help us keep sowing
The seeds of Your Kingdom
For the day You will reap them
Your sheaves we will carry|
Lord, please do not tarry
All those who sow weeping
will go out with songs of joy

The nations will say, “He has done great things!”
The nations will sing songs of joy
Restore us, O Lord     Restore us, O Lord

Reflection on
He leads me by still waters…”

Return to Your Rest, My Soul (Ps 116:1-9)
Mac Meador

Out of darkness, I came
stumbling, tearful and lame
carried to sunshine,
out past the tree line

You heard my whimpering cries,
you saw the tears in my eyes
but you didn't forget me
or the pain that beset me

Return to your rest, my soul
for the Lord comes to make you whole

The cords of death wrapped around me
No light of your life could I see
For the shackles were binding
and the darkness was blinding

I desperately called on your name
In kindness and love, Lord you came
You are gracious and righteous
You bring hope to the lifeless

**Oh, my soul…return to our Lord

Into your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit.
For you have redeemed me, Lord God of truth.
Into your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit.
Hide me under the shadow of your wings.

THE LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your Name,
your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial,
and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory
are yours, now and forever.
Amen.

O Lord, hear our prayer;
And let our cry come to you.
Let us pray.

Guide us waking, O Lord, and guard us sleeping;
that awake we may watch with Christ,
and asleep we may rest in peace.

Depart in Peace
Church of the Beloved

Oh God, as you have promised
now let your servants...depart in peace
depart in peace

For our eyes have seen the salvation
which you have prepared........for all to see
for all to see

A light to enlighten the world
and for your people... glo-ry…glo-ry

So depart in peace, depart in peace (x2)

In peace we will lie down and sleep;
for you alone, Lord, make us dwell in safety.
Abide with us, Lord Jesus,
for the night is at hand and the day is now past.
As the night watch looks for the morning,
so do we look for you, O Christ.

Let us bless the Lord.
Thanks be to God.
