Table Mission Projects - 2021
Table Mission focuses on special projects intended for use beyond our community in Victoria. The primary focus over the pandemic has been to nurture people in need of spiritual nourishment, particularly the seasonal videos and the podcast/music.
When we started meeting again in the fall we focused on monthly music nights to stimulate re-gathering. We also started up a spiritually focused food and conversation night sensitive to people outside of the Christian faith.

Special Videos
We produced three seasonal specials. These were mega major projects that would not have been possible to put together without the special circumstances of the pandemic.
With Song
Our monthly music night that our apprentice Richard Charter (music direction) is leading up, with help from me (Josh) and sister Emily Charter (event coordination).
The Great Feast
The Great Feast is a dinner party with a theme: telling the story of God through food. We pick a theme, eat a three course meal around tables of six people, I give a talk about how the theme relates to Jewish and Christian thought, then we discuss at our tables.
In total there are eight different nights and we’ve finished three with the fourth set for January. We are testing out the material with hopes of turning it into a video series.

In the fall of 2020 we started our Table Radio series that included our sermon series (Rooted), our Advent series reflections and music (Wait), our Christmas music album with reflection (12 Days) and our Lenten music+ (Not Alone). Click on an image for a listen!
